A strange day today, with tech & AI evangelists selling their philosophically-twisted (IMO) view of the future of our planet, tempered by some excellent critical questions from the moderators & more reflective interactions with members of the audience 🤷♂️
My challenge for tomorrow is to explain how studying the Universe should give us cause for humility when contemplating what it means to be human.

currently we're definitely not rocking civilisation, quite the opposite
