Re the last posts, I think "investing" in crypto is, was, and always will be stupid. But I work in tech, so understand what it is.
If you don't work in tech, then all you were fed was talking heads on finance channels talking about huge profits, and invited speakers about how revolutionary crypto was.
Financial media was complicit in aiding these scams, and even people who might be wary of investing in things they don't understand, were being told "this is a real thing" in all consumer pubs.
@ohunt Something going up and to the right for awhile is not proof of any merit. But it is sufficient to generate lots of media coverage at least for awhile.
