I can't do quote posts so a screenshot will have to do. But so much this. LNL could have banked so much money from VPN providers but at what cost? The audience understands this stuff.
We do happily advertise one VPN solution on the shows (which I won't name here) because they don't ask us to tell lies and it's just not the same thing at all really. It's just a really easy way to implement Wireguard.
I don't really blame non-tech YouTube people for not understanding this, but tech channels? 😬
@JoeRess I turn on the VPN on public wifi, so I get Australian "Maccers" ads and Japanese... I have no idea what ads when I watch YouTube on the bus on my commute.
@JoeRess Established Titles is another bad one. It's been debunked multiple times but I still see people talking about it like it can legally make you a lord.
