@arcana @mischievoustomato i have a mac and its not even what i record my guitar on, i use a laptop with ardour as the only thing installed ​:mur_close:​
i should probably just get rid of that laptop and use the mac

I have an M1 mini I got to use as a media PC, but macOS doesn't allow raw audio output and I prefer to send AC3/DD/DTS/TrueHD directly to my receiver (I think they don't allow it so Siri can't be disabled). So now it sits barely doing anything except GPT4All occasionally.

My Theater PC is sadly Windows 10 with VLC, which will stay that way until mpv+Linux actually supports HDR
