Rasta,

Last spring, going for my morning walk, I was alarmed to smell fresh smoke.
No one near me burns wood, it was early, there was no sign of where it was coming from, I checked for chimneys all around. Finally, I had to call 911.
Firefighters too could smell it, and we went on a tour of the neighbourhood trying to find the source. And Nothing.

Today, just before sunrise again, (I had headphones on) my street was flooded in Red lights. It happened again, someone else must have called it in. /2

Rasta,

The Firefighters were going door to door. I was up, but my neighbours sure weren't, it took a long time to wake one guy and they had to go in. The smell was so strong there. But again. Nothing. Something in our wind currents and downdrafts that occur just before sunrise, is dropping smoke here from afar. I can still smell smoke. Firemen left.

@Rasta That's weird.

Rasta,

@tc_morekindness I get concerned too. It's that smell, if you've ever been around a house fire, it doesn't smell like a wood stove. And it settles in like low fog.
