Worst part about having a corded electric snowblower: the cord.

Best part about having a corded electric snowblower: not having to bleed the engine when you think the snow is over.

(And yes, I know that battery versions exist. I've been on Home Depot's site this year.)

How well does the electric work for you with our snow?

@mwl Mostly OK. Wet snow makes it pack, and large amounts of snow will choke it. But for most of the time it'll be just fine.

It's one of the cheapest ones out there under a billion different brands. The basics are just a motor with a flap that rotates. You can go fancier if you want.

@mwl The one downside is the cord. you have to be clever about cable management. But you can tell when it's struggling because most of the house dims while it's in use.
