@case2tv@Kevin20221110 Thanks for the feedback. We always recommend making backups and you can secure your Proton account by enabling 2FA and Proton Sentinel, which helps to prevent account takeovers, even when an attacker has stolen your password.
My concern with having too many services with any single company isn't account takeover.
If I went full in with Proton and you closed my account that is no small thing when you offer vpn, email, aliases, storage, calendar, and passwords.
There is also the privacy issue of any company knowing too much about me.
I spent too many years with Google to join another ecosystem.
