So, researching the story of the somewhat bizare story of 5 1/4 still being used on San Francisco trains:

Can any of you folks tell me if a floppy emulator would help here, like a GoTek, is such a thing possible for 5 1/4” disks?

@jsbilsbrough ok but 5 1/4" floppies were already legacy in 1998 so they're trying to upgrade a technology from the 80s that was installed in the 90s?
