@Cdespinosa So I guess I should explain this is Reddit /r/funny. They also ban screenshots of Reddit. Which sounds funny because it's Reddit. But I guess what they're inarticulately saying is "no content that's taken from somewhere else, either inside or outside reddit".

@mcc ah so it’s an anti-shovelware sentiment, not a walled-garden sentiment. I can appreciate that. But what if something posted to /r/funny goes viral and BECOMES a meme? Does it have to be taken down?
