The quality of public water supplies is a public health issue. If people don't have reliable access to clean drinking water, we're either going to drink polluted water, or drink less water. In either case we're likely to need more heath care than if we drink sufficient clean water.

Maybe the alternative to both Three Waters, and the NatACT replacements, is to stop expecting local government to fund drinking water infrastructure on their own, and include it in the health budget?
