To make it clear, Biden is against most of what I stand for, but isn't a deranged maniacal psychopath who hates even more of the things I care about.
If I could press a button and remove them both, I'd do it now!! Heck, if I got to keep that button indefinitely, things would be very different for the evil old USA.
@DrALJONES during the 2016 election I watched Sanders polling higher than Biden & level with Clinton, then the MSM stopped showing him in the polls entirely. I had been raised against the corruption of politics, and watching the blatant manipulation & interference reinforced that upbringing. I will never trust a poll. With Russia & China playing games here, who would?

Mostly because I don’t trust politics, or what people say to pollsters about their own. 🤷♀️ Like this poll is nonsense to me. We all know many people wanted a different option. Trump sucks way more. We all know many people wanted a different option. Trying to determine how many people exactly, when it’s irrelevant makes this poll nonsense to me.

Re any given poll, after checking the reputation of the source, I then ask, "What is the likelihood of those numbers matching the reality on the ground?"
Knowing how the US public is reacting to Biden (coverage is everywhere), imo, the likelihood is relatively high. That's the "possibility" I see. I think that's important.
Also, I don't understand what you mean by "this poll's possibilities are from the past".
@DrALJONES I say it’s from the past because there is no way these candidates are being replaced. It’s done. Asking about replacing them is asking about something from the past. There is ZERO possibility of either being replaced. People answering are answering fantasy proposals. I’m not saying it’s nonsense for people who like polls to ponder whimsically. Have at it. That’s why my OG comment was off the cuff about polls in general. I didn’t take it as a serious poll

Sorry, imo, that's akin to saying it's pointless to write books or, likewise, contribute any info that enhances our understanding & helps us learn from history & from our current errors.
@DrALJONES It’s not an accurate picture of any election outlook because it’s asking people’s wishful thinking of a step in the process that has been completed. It’s cool if you like seeing what people would have liked to have happened, after the fact. 🤷♀️

Ffs, why are you so troubled that I don’t think THIS poll is useful. It’s okay for people to not like something. I don’t trust politics polls. Who cares?
The only reason I responded to your initial comments is because I care about reasoning & its power to help us understand stuff.
