@MadeyeTheCarnaptious Part of a long tradition of photo-editing to convey whatever idea of the person in the picture the particular publication wishes their readers to believe.
There’s been more than a few newspaper articles with him “looking concerned”, and one newspaper made him look like he was shakily taking a drink of water to calm his nerves, when he was probably just taking a sip at an earlier press conference. 😂
They did something similar to Penny Mordaunt when she tried to replace Boris Johnson as Prime Minister. Every photo was in a swim suit or had a really weird facial expression.

@trechnex@fkamiah17@MadeyeTheCarnaptious 😆 Here's photos from a recent tiff between NJ governor Murphy and Jersey City mayor Fulop (my mayor). Granted, Fulop chooses to look like this, but they certainly chose a thuggish picture for this story.
