Hydrocodone 325mg/10 is a narcotic analgesic and antitussive medication. When other painkillers do not work well enough or cannot be tolerated, a combination of hydrocodone and acetaminophen is used to relieve pain that is severe enough to necessitate opioid treatment. Hydrocodone 325mg/10 is a relatively strong medication for the management of moderate to severe pain in postoperative patients, trauma patients, or cancer patients. It comprises both an opioid painkiller (hydrocodone) and a non-opioid painkiller (acetaminophen). Each tablet has 325 mg of acetaminophen and 10 mg of hydrocodone bitartrate.
