Rich people who want this don't realize it comes back on them. Sure, the for profit system kills poor people faster and more often, but rich people get shittier care too. Unsafe staffing levels for nurses and doctors, hospital corporations refusing to provide clean air or adequate PPE for infection control, then there's Big Pharma killing innovation in medicine, creating-- just for one example-- the antibiotic crisis, which does not discriminate.
