Since Todd Blanche nodded his head yes when #Trump claimed that his right to testify has been taken away because of the #GagOrder, Merchan must start the day tomorrow inquiring of Trump’s understanding AND whether Blanche misadvised him on his 5th Amendment rights.
@GottaLaff I can't imagine that a experienced lawyer like Blanche not telling his client the 5th Amendment thing correctly-it's drilled into every defense lawyer ever bred. "You have the right to testify in your own behalf, but I won't force you to." Stupid if he forgot it..and bound to get slapped at by the judge.
@fmhilton I hope someone does bring it up to him in court. But it's so stupid, nobody will. If he's ever called to the stand, he won't go anyway. This was just another way of squirming out of his Big Boast about "I'm taking the stand!"
