So what is the deal with the bear?
I gather it is part of some Interweb bickering. Did someone set that off by saying that a woman is safer in proximity to a bear than being near a strange man?

The questions was asked of women.

"If you were hiking alone in the forest, what would you rather come across. A man or a bear?"

MANY women chose the bear for obvious reasons. This of course pissed off men with fragile egos.
