Also I know Uber drivers consider “choice of car” very heavily, to the point that there are certain dealership programs and financing options specifically targeting Uber drivers (I do not know if Tesla is part of this though). It’s possible that for some markets,the difference between the monthly cost of the financing for a Tesla, compared to financing an ICE car, can be made up by offering premium Uber-X rides
