Harm reduction is not "we have stopped using IV drugs to self medicate" it is "we're using clean needles and taught everyone how to do their injections safely."
Harm reduction is not "we have stopped self harming" it is "delaying the self harm until you have a safe space to do it in and an aftercare kit available to you."
Harm reduction is a way to ensure that you have more space with which to address the underlying issues, not a way of solving those issues.
