So much of what I like about art is light and shadow. Unfortunately, that's roughly 0% of the stuff you spend time on when making 3D art.

Oh, when you USE it, sure. And there's some consideration for value and how light will strike, but when you're making 3D assets it's just... texture texture texture.

Fuck texture, gimme light.

@Craigp This is why I've recently picked up photography, hah. No texturing necessary. Though unfortunately I can't directly control the lighting, either.
