I never imagined that at the age of 51 I would be completely completely over and done with driving at night. I used to intentionally drive at night, sometimes just to do it. But now if I have to go out after dark, I don’t like it. I feel like this is a major aging thing and I don’t like that either. I mean, I’m happy to be alive to age, but the rest of it is rather shitty.
(I would especially like to opt out of the aging eyeball nonsense on the grounds I’ve been wearing glasses since I was four, my eyeballs have been through enough, dammit!)
@amaditalks TBH I'm hearing this from people in their 20's and 30's now. Headlamps and streetlights have gotten so bright you never get your night vision going. For the first time in decades road fatalities are actually going up!
