I was listening to a thing about the Wahabists who seized the Grand Mosque for about 2 weeks. They had a guy who they thought was the Mahdi, but he denied it, which made them say "ah, only the Mahdi would deny being the Mahdi. This just proves it." The poor guy ended up getting blasted.
