Isn't this what capitalism is supposed to be? Someone makes a better, cheaper thing, the market rewards them.

Also, Elon has been saying for 20 years he's going to bring an affordable EV to market. What's he done? The goddamn cybertruck.

People want a regular ass car that runs on ⚡ and isn't worse or more expensive than a gas car. If they have to get it from China, that's the US's failing

I was listening to a thing about the Wahabists who seized the Grand Mosque for about 2 weeks. They had a guy who they thought was the Mahdi, but he denied it, which made them say "ah, only the Mahdi would deny being the Mahdi. This just proves it." The poor guy ended up getting blasted.

@mondoweiss @palestine @israel you could make this same argument about literally any negotiation, regardless of how lopsided. "Well they're holding it up by not giving us everything we ask for and a bunch of stuff that's not even part of the negotiation"
