The US healthcare system is failing Americans. The situation has become untenable. A #UniversalHC system may only be realized if Dems win a trifecta:
In the past, MED centers have broadly provided procedures first & settled the bill with patients later -something they are legally required to do in emergency cases.
Now, in non-emergency cases, SOME HOSPITALS WANT TO BE PAID UP FRONT BEFORE THEY OPERATE, & customers -patients -not thrilled.
