@feld conservatives are constitutional originalists not textualists and even the wording is kind of ambiguous, it's a crazy complex topic though surprisingly. I used to troll mccain for president people because he was born in the panama canal zone and essentially had american citizenship through legislation that passed after he was born, which pretty clearly made him ineligible to be president no matter how many congressional affirmations of his eligibility made on his behalf. (this is not actually quite true but it takes a ton of digging to prove it, I used to regularly get -400 downvotes on breitbart's website every time I posted about mccain.)
@feld I shouldn't hope he's in Hell but he was tortured in Vietnam and flipped on torture to sell his soul to be president so maybe he forgot what being tortured was like
