I am wary of generalisations in ideas like the drama triangle. But honestly when I look back at every job or team I've worked on, I can immediately identify the person everyone was trying to either reassure or placate, and the folk who thought they were helping but actually perpetuated the unhealthy dynamic. It's been almost ubiquitous in my experience.

The only people who seem not to have been pulled into it? The ones with a strong enough sense of self that they aren't using a job to shore it up.

Guess we better get used to it then LOL.

@mloxton I don't think this is so much about keeping / getting jobs as it is about the interpersonal dynamic that happens whenever folk are in the same environment for a sustained period of time
