To (aspire to) be a climate activist is to face a tsunami of
nonsense. Broadcast news is the fluff about consumer confidence and oil investment with no recognition of the urgency of #ClimateAction.
This alienates, atomises and distorts activism; we rarely know its origin. It's twin curses of Cassandra: seeing the harm and being unable to engage others. Saying the Emperor has no clothes is to be decried as an 'eco-zealot' - as if zeal would be a failing. #ScientistsWarning#ClimateDiary
