Mastodon is home, with Glass Instagram for photos. I’d liked to have included Pixelfed for photos too but there’s little to no engagement, so it’s fallen off my radar for now. Hopefully in time it’ll gain popularity.

I wish I could get to like Instagram again, but I found engagement over there died off. I don't really take many photos, and posting here scratches that itch. Perhaps I don't need anything more.
Would like to see Pixelfed gain some ground for sure!
@andycarolan when Instagram made it clear it wasn’t focussed on photography anymore I decided not to put in the effort.
Also, engagement which had been so high for years suddenly dropped off a cliff. Unless I post something relating to Apple, Nintendo or other big brands then I can expect few views. It demonstrates just how seriously IG focuses on brands.
IG is an afterthought now, sadly. I keep it only for viewing friends feeds.

I browsed Threads very briefly on launch day then deleted as I was in an insufferable influencer echo chamber. They’re almost as bad in spoken word as they are in photo/video which is quite an achievement, haha.
