@ai6yr WILD ANIMALS are NOT Disney Characters. I’ve seen shocking displays of adults putting themselves and their families, even very small children at risk, trying to ‘Pet’ or ‘Feed’ wildlife. It’s like a Darwin Club meeting.

@Catawu @ai6yr I actually had to yell at some dumbasses in the village on the mountain. They let what looked to be a 3 year old child approach a full grown mature bull elk. These things are, at minimum, about 700- 1000 pounds of lean, deadly muscle.

I yelled, the bull ran off, and I let the parents have it.

These are WILD ANIMALS. Not at a zoo.

ai6yr,

@Catawu "LOOK MOMMY, THE BIRD IS TRYING TO PECK TIMMY'S EYES OUT! IT'S SO FUNNY!"

ai6yr,

Per NPS: "The incident occurred on the West Entrance Road near the Seven Mile Bridge, located 7 miles east of the park’s West Entrance.

Rangers responded to the area after receiving a report of an individual who harassed a herd of bison and kicked a bison in the leg. They located the suspect's vehicle near the West Entrance and stopped it in the town of West Yellowstone, Montana."
