Cherry chair I made awhile ago. Finish is Osmo PolyX.
I am getting just into hand tool woodworking. This is my second attempt at dovetail joinery. I’m pretty happy with it, but feedback is welcome. I know my tails got a bit gappy. Not sure if I moved my knife wall or just did a poor job of marking.
Short version: Thien Baffle, wall mount, ducting, Truck filter.
Maple burl and wenge box with brusso hardware, flocking lining, and Osmo PolyX finish.
Small birdseye maple and wenge dovetailed box I made about six months ago. This was my first attempt at a wooden hinge.
Walnut desk with Osmo Polyx.
Raised dog bed made out of ash with maloof joints for the legs. I have a blanket and dog pillow that sits on top for added comfort.
Large memory box I made for a friend a couple years ago. Maple and walnut with inlaid dovetails. Finish was a wipe on danish oil blend.
Memories box made out of sapele and ebony. The inside is lined with flocking.
I made this mountain shelf about three years ago when they were all the rage. It's made out of walnut, ambrosia maple, and paduak. I can't remember what finish I used, but it was some sort of wipe on finish and I was not impressed with it.
Made this table for my mother who wanted something narrow to put her plants on. Traditional soap finish on ash.
Made this shelf awhile ago out of ash and walnut. Knapp joints on the drawer and a shellac finish.
Bluetooth speaker I made out of Maple, Wenge, and Zebrawood with shellac finish.
Since we aren't really big enough for a separate turning magazine yet, here's some pens I turned.
Mallet with inlaid dovetails.
Walnut and ash TV console I made a few months ago. Finish is Osmo Polyx and not nearly as yellow as it looks in the pictures. Must be my lighting or something.
I'm going to try and add a project a day for a bit so that when people stop by the magazine isn't empty....
