I saw last night celebrating its 45th anniversary. It's been a seriously long time since I've seen the film, and I don't know if I've ever seen it in a theatre.

The Fox logo at the beginning looks so weird, and the fanfare is a shorter version than the one I'm used to, but other than that, the film holds up really well. 1/2

Well-drawn characters, good actors, great set design and production design, terrific score and that amazing creature. I did jump once or twice, and it was so tense throughout so much of the film.

Before the film, showed a conversation / interview between (director of the upcoming ) and , mostly discussing aspects of the original film. I especially liked hearing about how got involved with the film. 2/2

I saw twice and loved it both times, so when I saw that they were releasing the film in black and white, , I knew that I had to go. It's an even more poignant and powerful film in black and white, and it's also totally gorgeous. I keep getting more and more out of the film every time I see it. I was also able to see this on one of Prime screens, so it was even more incredible. 1/2
