Found a solid through line for #character in a script an #acting#coaching client is performing soon. It's not the only basis the character could behave from, but it's fun and can be a solid jumping off point moment to moment. Gratifying to see their character developing into a whole "person."

As my client wisely said, even if the final performance ends up different these are good pieces to find. I'm excited to see their #performance grow and deepen.

Just worked with an #acting#coaching client on a self-tape #audition, and after getting a take that can work, we played around. Added a sort of stop sign: a moment where the thoughts turned and then turned back, and it was so fun to see them fully realizing the character.
