This is a small bugfix release, fixing some balance and spend/receiving issues (mostly reduced confusion + workaround for some broken Android keyboard apps that don't correctly listen to the list of allowed symbols).
It also contains various translation updates.
The update is available on #GitHub right now and will most likely be available on #IzzyOnDroid within 24 hours. It has also been sent to Google Play Open Testing for review.
This release adds support for finding barcodes in PDF files[1] and dealing with multiple barcodes. It also properly colours the status bar during usage now.
As always, it's available on #GitHub, will soon be available on #IzzyOnDroid and will slowly roll out to other app stores.
Nice, #Catima is popular enough for cloned versions with the copyright info illegally stripped and advertisement and tracking added to start appearing on the "well-moderated" #GooglePlay store.
It's kinda hilarious to me, because the About screen also contains the privacy policy. Which means that these apps removing the About screen are already breaking Google Play policy by not having a clear privacy policy inside the app.
Haben die Lack gesoffen!? 15 Euro pro Woche!? Um einfach irgendwelche Kundenkarten (IKEA, ADAC, etc) abzuspeichern. Wer zahlt denn bitte 60 Euro und mehr im Monat für sowas?
This release improves the barcode rendering code and supports allowing third party apps to read your cards after they request access, allowing #Gadgetbridge to work with Catima in their next release.
This feature is enabled by default as it requires apps to explicitly ask for access through Android permissions. However, if you feel certain you never want to allow other apps access to your cards at all, you can disable it in settings.
This means we have initial native OsmAnd support to forward navigation instructions to devices (which have some sort of navigation app) in a structured way - not just by forwarding text.
