Today, I finished a 5 page narrative about why I should be considered for a Teaching Excellence Award and sent it out for comments. Writing about myself is not fun. Also, I don't like the amount of work I have to do for just phase 1 of this award cycle. (Next up is 150 page dossier and I'm tired just thinking about that.) Still, the reflection I did today was positive, so that's something. #ProfLife #Teaching #ChemistryEducation

Really looking forward to Variety in Chemistry Education/Physics Higher Education Conference tomorrow. By my count it’s my 13th year going. Heading to Durham this morning for the RSC HEG meeting and looking forward to catching up with people in three dimensions after several virtual years. Delivering a workshop on Thursday then I can enjoy the rest.

Not sure how busy #vicephec23 will be here but I plan to share some stuff.
