So the bass next to me at rehearsal last night, as we're sitting down says to me "sorry, don't listen to me tonight, I have a cold."

And proceeds to cough & hack thru the whole rehearsal.

FFS, DUDE! 😡

If you're sick, stay home! Or at the least, do what other reasonable people do (like a soprano did that night) & sit away from everyone else & mask up!

I'm mad at myself too, for neither (a) asking him to move, nor (b) masking up myself (I had one with me).

Alice Parker died on Christmas Day. She was 98. 💔

An exceptional composer, arranger, conductor, and teacher.

We're singing her arrangement of What Wondrous Love for our next chorale concert. It's just exceptional.

As a choral singer, I give deep thanks and appreciation for what she gave the world.
