It’s a good thing Netflix recently added Dune: Part One to their library (at least in my region) so that I could rewatch it before seeing Part Two in the cinema! 🤩
That said, a huge part of my teenage years was playing the pioneer RTS game Dune II (along with the original Civilization) so I was already familiar with the world of Arrakis, albeit a gamified version that included a non-canon House Ordos.
Seeing game elements like the Fremen, the Sardaukar, ornithopters, spice fields, harvesters, spice silos, wormsigns, and especially sandworms gobbling up units on the big screen in a book-accurate manner in these two movies was amazing.
