@rodhilton I tested #Ecosia (which gives the same results like #Bing) and these are the same like #DuckDuckGo. I hope Bing doesn't start to follow #Google with these types of ideas.

@jantzen Yes! Thanks for the recommendation. I was subscribed to #Kagi for a while, but decided to stick with #Ecosia (for now) because they plant trees with their profits.
#DuckDuckGo, always the obvious "not Google" choice; but ISTR them having their own ethical quandaries? & are "just Bing"? Brief trial "feels good” tho, need to dig more.
#Ecosia sounds like a nice idea, but is probably just greenwashing?
#Marginalia is cool but not quite the same level as Goog/DDG/Kagi, too narrowly focused to be a catchall.
Made a post about #images searching engines, since I like #Ecosia so much because it displays lot of images, but wondered if there were another option that could be better than Ecosia. Someone mentioned #Yandex. I tried and found out that's the best one I used lately!

Usei o #Firefox 🦊 durante anos, já nem me lembro porque me mudei para o Chrome. Estou agora a tentar fazer o caminho inverso. Muito simples, instalar e passar os dados para lá. Tudo suave.
PS: Estranhamente vem com o Google como motor predefinido, mudei para o PatoPatoVai a ver se ganho o hábito. Pensando melhor vou mudar para o #Ecosia, sempre se plantam umas árvores.
