Watching a stream from #Fuwamoco recently, I was reminded that I did try Pon de Rings while on my #JapanTrip. Don’t expect the greatest donuts ever but they are undoubtedly pretty good. #hololive
This watch is very photogenic imo and always brings back all the memories of my #JapanTrip. Definitely one of the favorites in my collection 😊. #watches#watchesofmastodon
As my #watches collection grew during my #JapanTrip, I felt it was time to get a proper display box. I didn’t want a closed case but a display box with glass lid because:
I want it to be pretty on the shelves
when choosing what to wear daily, being able to see the watches inside helps
on a more pragmatic level, my Citizen watch is an Eco-Drive model so it needs light to charge itself. I suspect that it won’t be the only one in my collection to be light- or solar-powered in the future
I stopped wearing regular watches in favor of smartwatches 10 years ago starting with Pebbles then Apple Watches. But the #JapanTrip reignited my interest in regular watches so much so that I started double-wristing over there. It was too convenient to have notifications, map, music, Apple Pay and a Suica pass at all time on my right wrist. Maybe I will keep doing that here 😅
It’s really funny now that I made my #JapanTrip and spent a month roaming around there, I am definitely recognizing some locations when I watch videos or documentary about Japan 😂
If you like temples, Kyoto is temples galore. The usual suspects are here but don’t forget that smaller temples are sometimes even better than the big ones. Honorable mention to Ryoan-ji, Ninna-ji, Tofuku-ji. #JapanTrip
Fushimi Inari was certainly an experience. A lot less crowded when one gets near the summit. Yes I did reach the top. It was tiring but worth it 😁. #JapanTrip
Damn #Knot. The prospect of a very nice #watch fully made in Japan with a #Seiko movement and great finish for an alright price is indeed very tempting. I may or may not have bought a watch from them 😂 #JapanTrip
