Crazy #MechanicalWatch, but I feel like it will find enthusiasts here. You can read time from it with an accuracy of 15 minutes, but it shows the operation of the mechanism as if looking from underneath.
Yeah, so I've managed to waste most of the two hours since I got off of work. Time to #watch something. Hudson Hawk (1991) anyone? It's directed by Michael Lehmann, stars Bruce Willis with a massively big cast. #film
I got a new watch! I realized having a basic digital watch would let me leave my phone in my bag more often, which helps me spend less time checking it. Plus this looks extremely 90s and I love it
I can't believe a paid OS needs a tool like this. Here's a GUI tool called OFGB (Oh Frick Go Back) to remove all the ads in Windows 11. It's understandable if a free OS or app needs ad support, but this is just crazy https://github.com/xM4ddy/OFGB
If you have an #Apple#Watch, turn off automatic updates for now. There is apparently a pretty big issue resulting in the update getting stuck in "preparing" stage. This will drain your watch battery and is currently not fixable. Engineering is working on an update, but it's not there yet
Just finished the 3rd Blu-ray of Outlander S4 and it's just so full of secrets, rapes and stupidity that I'm not going to look for or purchase S5. Also it's licentious. And the characters are irresponsible. Nyah. #tv#physicalmedia
Now I'm going to #watch Sarah's Key (2010), directed by Gilles Paquet-Brenner, starring Kristin Scott-Thomas. It, like Outlander is a story told in two times. But there's no time travel, just a story being researched about some Nazi event in 1942 Paris. #film
Does anyone in fedi know anything about #antique#watches? I have a lot a massive collection of #elgin watches that I've inherited that I really want to know the history behind them.

It’s funny how I usually try to avoid exposing my #AppleWatch to sunlight because it affects its legibility, forces its screen to be brighter and burns through the battery as a result, yet I do exactly the opposite with my Citizen #watch because light makes it more legible and charges its battery and its lumen. Another noteworthy feature is that it stops moving its seconds hand when in the dark for extended period of time to save battery and resumes with the correct time when back in the light 😁
Hey Oneplus fans! Which watch strap are you feeling? The included sporty strap? A broken in tan leather? That rich maroon strap. I'm not sure which I like the look of better. Whaddya think?
No #film watching tonight, after a busy day hanging out with my elders. Gotta work tomorrow, so gotta rest tonight. Tons of stuff to #watch this week though. Going to try to plow my way through some familiar directors.
Humans are very good at anthropomorphising things. That is, giving them human characteristics, like ourselves. We do it with animals—see just about any cartoon—and we even do it with our own planet…
Curious, what's everyone wearing today? Let me see your #watch !!!
I've been working on this special #Seiko and it's up and running great, I even jeweled the barrel arbor to make it extra special. Now, I'm wearing it to get real-world testing to see how well/accurately it runs!
What's your watch? Does it have a story? Just looks cool? Let me know!
