For users with some previous knowledge of older firewall technologies, the IpTables Guide helps translate that knowledge into the 'firewalld' setup. https://docs.rockylinux.org/guides/security/firewalld-beginners/#tutorialtuesday#firewalld#howto#linuxtips#documentation

GNU/Linux newbies, if you don't know why a GUI application doesn't work, launch it from the terminal. If you don't understand the error use the search engines. If you don't get info or don't understand it, ask in the GNU/Linux forums pasting the error message you read in the terminal. If you don't get help in the forums open another thread in the same forum with the title "Linux sucks". In the latter case, you will probably get the solution as well as learn new insults.
TIL that if you connect your phone to your Linux PC via Bluetooth the sound on your phone is streamed to your PC. Very useful if you have better speakers on your PC than your phone.
Also: If they're connected via KDE Connect (this is over wifi) the sound on media played on the PC will automatically be muted when you take a phone call. Neat.
