#IVE is a #KPop#GirlGroup that I just never super got into. I didn't dislike their music, but nothing really clicked with me. Until I heard "I Am" - which has been on my playlist since it dropped and is unlikely to be leaving. I am just so ridiculously into the song. However, for me today is more than Star Wars Day, as today is my oldest child's birthday. Today they turn 14.
14 years ago around this time I was at work. My wife called me from the hospital as I was training someone to replace me while I was out on Paternity leave. At that point, my wife had been in the hospital on bedrest for 3 weeks. But, our baby was coming that day as she developed pre-eclampsia and HELLP syndrome.
The baby was coming 10 weeks early.
Flash forward 14 years & we have a teenager. Where does the time go?
Can someone come to the Mid-Atlantic and take away the #rain for me? I haven't mowed my lawn in nearly 2 weeks now because there has been so much of it. And my lawn just...holds the rain, so I need at least 2 dry days to get the lawn where it is actually able to be mowed without issue.
How's the #weather by you? Still grey skies here...for now...

I have a short, but solid playlist of songs I listen to on my commute and/or driving around. This morning, got to blasting "The Last Dragonborn" by #DragonForce.
So, last night, I had what began as a nondescript #dream about me as a teenager having some odd argument about something with my parents.
Suddenly, I turned and saw my grandfather sitting in a plush rocking chair. He passed away ~8 years ago. Suddenly, it was a lucid dream that I could control as I felt myself starting to wake up. In the dream, I started crying as I hugged him, and he hugged me back. He asked, "Why are you crying?" And I just said I missed him so much.
I rapidly woke up hugging a pillow and crying.
I am glad he got to meet all of my kids, I just wish we all spent more time with him.

Nothing too much happening today. After work we have our daughters Spring Fling at her school (hopefully I’ll get to attend - work schedule conflict). Then just relaxing.
