The discourse on #SpeedCameras needs to be about changing the street design, yes, but it also needs to involve personal liability. Too many people think they're good #drivers, but know there are zero consequences for the first 10mph over the posted speed, even on camera. Show me a list of cars and registered owners/drivers + their speed for everyone over posted by about 2mph, and I'll show you the "culture change" electeds keep saying we need. Businesses & govt vehicles too. #VisionZero
Oct 14 is deadline for Governor Gavin Newsom to sign or veto these #ActiveTransportation bills (and if he takes no action, these bills become law).
