Oh damn, it’s SUNDAY. I missed Brunch, but good thing @lefthandbrewing is here to with this French Toast milk !

Smooth maple vanilla lead with a nice pop of caramel on the finish. Not too sweet but perfect for a cold day dessert.

We didn’t get much snow but it’ll be a #stoutSunday Snow Emergency anyway.

#fultonBrewing Snow Emergency #stout is a basic stout, mild malty flavor and a tiny bitter note but nothing that stands out. Very drinkable but unremarkable.

Replacing the first with a better choice - barrel aged Speedway Stout 2023.

Oak barrels done right, chocolate and vanilla bourbon nose, tastes of coffee, vanilla, and a lasting bourbon background.

Starting dark on with BlackOps barrel aged

Cocao and vanilla up front with a slight bourbon note and sour oaky finish. We’ll see what our guests say, but I’m NOT digging the lingering sour.

It’s pre-dinner desert with a Moo Joos Red Velvet oatmeal milk stout. Smooth chocolate and cherry, the name really fits. My last bottle 🍫 🍒

The pork loin is seared and just hit the oven, and I think I might have poured this one a BIT too hard.

Even More Jesus seemed like a nice pairing for a DARK first eve back to CST (UTC-0600).

With the thickest creamiest head of ANY , it has so many delicious flavors of chocolate, coffee, dark sugared fruit, caramel in a smooth rich body.

Have I mentioned this is a FAVORITE?

I read the label this time which notes coffee, chocolate, AND chocolate syrup. That may account for the body. Tasty bourbon and blueberry sweet with a tart finish. @beersofmastodon
