So a few years ago I took a night photo of the bridges and walkway from roughly this spot and wasn’t happy with the photo. So I decided to go back there recently and take another photo and guess what, I’m not happy with this either. I’m thinking the better photo involves me standing on the water in the middle of the Charles. Sigh.

at the MassArt 150th Anniversary: Iron Pour on the Greenway
Just waiting for them to do the iron pour while they make a little fire.

Video of Massart people, wearing protective gear, on the Greenway, spinning a platform, generating a column of green fire within a protective wire cage. They are adding chemicals to the fire this time to make it green because they are on the GREEN way.

fun story:

on Sunday, i was taking the Tufts green line inbound, where it runs along the bike path.

near me were a couple 5 years olds, who decided we were racing a couple who was walking along the path.

"we're winning!" the kids shouted as the train momentarily sped up. "now they're winning" they shouted as the pedestrians pulled ahead of us
