Until now I do not own any storage system whatsoever for my Commodore C64 breadbin.

I am looking into several solutions like the SD2IEC (several) combined with a Final Cartridge III+ cartridge or an EPYX FASTLOAD cartridge.

The perfect yet pricy (for me) solution would be the Ultimate 1541 II-L cartridge.

Another one could be the Pi1541 but I haven't yet found any offer that can sell me the complete thing with the case ...

I am interested in getting a "Turbo Chameleon" from Individual Computer.

Is there anybody with some experience with this module for the Commodore C64? ...

It has arrived!

My new old C64 is back in my possession. It is the model I owned as a kid in 1982/83. With a serial number towards the 400.000th built in Western Germany. It has the keyboard of the predecessor, the VIC-20.

Now I need two things next:

• a new PSU to power up the beast
• the Ultimate 1541 IIL expansion with lots of good and modern stuff on it

I'm looking forward to diving back into everything C64 :-) ...

I’ll never forget the heart exploding and brain sparkling feeling I had when I brought this home for the first time way back when.

Hard to even compare, except maybe getting the keys to my first car.
