I pulled these early, with about 70,000 miles on them as the car runs a little rough during idle. Note the discoloration on plug 1, rt in both images. Electrodes look good on all of them. Note darkness on seat not seen on others. Also note discoloration on ceramic insulator on 1 and 2, not seen on other plugs. Comments welcome. #SparkPlugs #mechanics #ShadeTreeMechanic #cars

Well I wasted all summer, and didn't get my #VW #Squareback running so I have to drag it up into my garage to keep the rain from getting in it this winter.

Trouble is there's nothing to hook a comealong to in my garage. So I bought a D-ring from HarborFreight and rented a hammer drill and masonry bits from the tool lending library tonight.

Hopefully the anchor bolts will hold and I can get it winched up my driveway.
