Made Lieutenant Commander on STO. Now maybe 2 more years of grinding and I'll make Captain and finally get access to the Galaxy-class ships. Yes, I know I could pay for these things, but I don't want to. #StarTrekOnline

At least they stopped increasing the level cap when it got to 65. Instead they started adding other systems of progression like career specializations and the task force operations. As well as stuff you have to buy to open up an extra little slot for stuff, some of which you can get from being in a fleet others you just got to buy from the Zen store.
Don't get me wrong. I still very much love the game, but that's because I love Star Trek. I enjoy playing a game that lets me feel like I'm part of that universe.
When they still had the cheesy The Original Series missions in there, with bad special effects and everything, I loved it.
I bought a lifetime subscription and everything.
I would only recommend this game to people who are fans of everything Star Trek. Going through the story missions the first time was amazing. Going through them for the 6th or 7th time, not so amazing.
