We need an #RSS reader with "Reply" and "Repost" buttons. These actions would occur on a blog you connect with #Micropub or #XMLRPC, and use #WebMentions to notify the originating site.

Are there any blog aggregators out there anymore?

I have a tiny node server running that correctly receives weblogUpdates.ping and logs the values to the console.

Next to save them into a database of some kind, then write a frontend that does something with it.

I'm working with the garage door open.

A - and -based server for blog pings, a la Technorati.

If this area is of interest to you, please fork and play around with this.

Are there any linux users here, that also use wordpress and know of a offline editor that is currently still in development? Or a way to use any text editor to publish using XML-RPC?

The ability to publish markdown or RST files with "special" metatags would be amazing.

Watching some of the vids coming out of this year's Perl and Raku Conference. Ingy döt؜؜ Net's talk on his work on Lingy and YAMLScript was pretty amazing.

Lingy is a hosted on - Perl code can call Lingy code can call Perl code. The idea of having a Lingy VM with JIT is very appealing.

YAMLScript is a YAML-style dialect of Lingy (or any Clojure implementation), for those who don't like LISP style.

@fuzzix I have bad news for you: came out of that same era. It was an over-engineered adaptation by and @w3c of @davew’s

Mind you, the entire -based stack of standards is being re-accreted on top of with efforts like and JSON Schema. The final and once-again neglected piece is automated service discovery à la

Okay, so anyone know a good tool for importing your archive to via the or api? I loved the idea of @shawnhooper's tool, but putting on & running it via command line times out cos my archive is too big and the format is not great for me. (haven't found a good theme that will format tweets)

I would love a tool that allows me to run it remotely from terminal in my macos with my data local and feeds it into a remote wordpress installation.
