I was really surprised when I found out that people imagined voices when reading. Wouldn’t they be sped up voices? People read faster than speech. It’s so confusing…

Or Lindt.

If you’ve ever tried US chocolate it’s straight up god tier by comparison.

Fair point. Like a lot of their foodstuff, it’s been fucked up into oblivion (and yes, I know you can find decent food, it’s just not the default).

That’s pretty much how I’d qualify it as well. It’s a long shot from luxury, but it’s decent as industrial brands go.

They’re actually 128TB drives, but everything has to be written four times.

On a tv, it shouldn’t be much of an issue. On a monitor, there’s bound to be fixed UI elements from the desktop, whatever it is that are displayed most of the time.

I think that it’s been tried and did yield similar effects. Unsurprisingly.

I’ll just add this to my big list of things that didn’t work.

Wait, what’s the worst language then if it isn’t PHP?

But the instructor always said to use soft moves.

Hiving them little “Hi, my name is…” tags helps a lot.

Kernel modules aren’t the same as drivers. They’re an interface for drivers.

When nothing happens for too long, the plant withers and starts losing leaves. For each leaf that falls, a random file is deleted in /sbin.

AnUnusualRelic,

Does it do anything useful? It’s not very clear, seen from abroad.

Not only is it debunked, it was a downright fraudulent paper.

It’s convenient, there’s no denying it.

iPad Pro with M4 chip boasts impressive performance jump compared to just-released M3 MacBook Air (9to5mac.com)

On raw performance might, the M4 really does live up to Apple’s promises, should deliver. Single core is up about 20% compared to all M3 chips and more than 40% compared to M2. The generational computational leap from the previous M2 iPad Pro is at least a 42% jump on single-core and multi-core.

That’s only if you like MacOs. I tried it and ran back to the usability heaven of Kde (and someone was gifted a n apple laptop).

That’s a moped. I suppose they have their space too.

When you go on the Internet, nine times out of ten all you’ll get is idiots telling you “install arch noob” (they’ve been running linux for all of six months), “it works here” (different environment altogether), “you should redo all of your project with <pet project> instead” (sure, let’s spend three months redoing everything)…

So the documentation is typically a safer bet. Not always, but often.
