Wait, what’s the worst language then if it isn’t PHP?

But the instructor always said to use soft moves.

Hiving them little “Hi, my name is…” tags helps a lot.

Kernel modules aren’t the same as drivers. They’re an interface for drivers.

When nothing happens for too long, the plant withers and starts losing leaves. For each leaf that falls, a random file is deleted in /sbin.

AnUnusualRelic,

Does it do anything useful? It’s not very clear, seen from abroad.

Not only is it debunked, it was a downright fraudulent paper.

I like it when my crashes come with a plain text explanation of what caused the crash. It just seems simpler to me than having to deal with some barcode fuckery.

But now they’ve got that new green Mario!

Those are wise words.

Remember that in the end, all the distributions end up doing and installing pretty much the same thing (from the user’s pov). It doesn’t matter all that much what you use. Most of the major ones work just fine.

AnUnusualRelic,
@AnUnusualRelic@lemmy.world avatar

That’s a very useful feature for all those people who reinstall their system each time they turn their computer on.

There’s beet at least one female pope. So it’s not technically wrong.

AnUnusualRelic,

It’s a religious thing. Belief is everything.

If you’re noy in very high resolution, it makes sense.

It’s either that or cardboard bricks (only for long term storage milk). Glass is extremely rare nowadays.

AnUnusualRelic,
@AnUnusualRelic@lemmy.world avatar

The cardboard milk here, being “UHT” (ultra high temperature) treated for a long shelf life doesn’t taste the same. For many preparations it doesn’t really matter, but for some it does.

It’s convenient, there’s no denying it.

iPad Pro with M4 chip boasts impressive performance jump compared to just-released M3 MacBook Air (9to5mac.com)

On raw performance might, the M4 really does live up to Apple’s promises, should deliver. Single core is up about 20% compared to all M3 chips and more than 40% compared to M2. The generational computational leap from the previous M2 iPad Pro is at least a 42% jump on single-core and multi-core.

That’s only if you like MacOs. I tried it and ran back to the usability heaven of Kde (and someone was gifted a n apple laptop).

AnUnusualRelic,
@AnUnusualRelic@lemmy.world avatar

That’s a moped. I suppose they have their space too.

When you go on the Internet, nine times out of ten all you’ll get is idiots telling you “install arch noob” (they’ve been running linux for all of six months), “it works here” (different environment altogether), “you should redo all of your project with <pet project> instead” (sure, let’s spend three months redoing everything)…

So the documentation is typically a safer bet. Not always, but often.
