I haven't left my apartment for long periods of time in weeks.

My cats refused to eat while I was gone, and eating is Nikita's favorite thing. As soon as I got home, she ate all her food.

Dinah was yowling a really sad sounding cry when I got back. 😢

I've been alone for a few days and it's interesting to see that it doesn't matter if I'm alone and not having to socialize - I still got dissociated and was just very confused home alone not knowing if I'm an actual person who is alive. I know this happens but for some reason I had told myself that if I just get to be alone some time I will feel better. Nope. Felt bad and was alone with the feelings.

Battery powered appliances such as vacuum cleaner, lawn mowers etc. really is a significant help in getting things done with limited spoons.

It's both not all the time having to fight with a cord which makes using them better, but also that it's much faster to get started and put the appliance away again which makes it more feasible to do a bit of cleaning etc. when I have a bit of spare energy.

I think I need to live in a commune as a sort of jack of all trades.

Honestly, I don’t think I have the mental makeup, skills, and talents (let alone interest) to “succeed” in our capitalist society.

I’m a tinkerer who enjoys working with wood as much as I enjoy working on computers, researching accounting (or real, anything) as much as I enjoy reading about science*.

Maybe I should start Communauty.

*Oh, but I hate gardening.

but rather a long fillable form from some who the fuck knows third party ad company.

I could uncheck a box to stop receiving that type of email…

but there was no option to “confirm" or "submit”; I had to “save profile.”

Adventures in trying to get my Strattera.

Insurance won’t pay for the new dosage, so put in a request last night to have my psych send a prescription to the pharmacy down the street. Except I think he start his vacation already and he doesn’t come back until end of June.

So now I called the pharmacy to have them call my insurance company’s pharmacy to get it transferred. Now I wait. She said it can take 24 hours to get it from them sometimes.

Meanwhile I’m struggling hardcore trying to work😭

I saw someone talking about password rules…

The worst password idea I ever had was to actually write a script to generate 256 random characters, including special characters, to use for my WiFi password. I didn't realize that in the near future, I would have devices that needed WiFi but couldn't accept a cut and paste of the password because they had no USB ports or GUI that would allow it.

Manually entering WiFi passwords on "Smart TVs" and other devices sucks by the way.

I've been feeling a little tired and overstimulated over the last few days and I've been trying to find a way to decompress. It's quietly hilarious to me that simply sitting on the couch with a blanket over my head seems to be quite effective.
